A Ministry of Cats

A Ministry of Cats has a Working Page on Facebook.   I received a call to help with trapping a mom cat and 4 kittens.  Feeney had one eye ready to blow out of her face and the kittens were so skinny!

I decided to rise like the Phoenix (I wanted to call the page Phoenix Rising) and wanted to create positive results for Individual Rescues here.  Oddly, this is what my intention for BRU was about but now this situation created a focus and definite path towards getting resources to help!

There's an Individual Rescuer named Bruce Eisner who struggles with  TNR, Adoptions; Socializing and caring for the unadoptables - just like I do.  He's my inspiration for this concept of helping to raise funds and focusing on one cat at a time.  If you feel inspired or motivated to help hop over to our Contact and donation Tab!  Go to the facebook page and call him if you want to adopt!

I created a blog for sharing experiences generally and our first blog showcased a senior cat.  The Cat's In The Cradle is the story about a rescue from Brooklyn who became lost under circumstances that made for a cliff hanger.  It addresses the need for planning to hopefully get your cat back if it should become lost.  Sad endings are not necessary.

This site will be used to follow the cats in my book.  A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words will take you cat by cat through my journey.  Some of those cats are still with me.  You'll see why the expenses never go away but neither do the good times and companionship.  It's a different read from my book which is showcased on this site's blog.
